MOPANI Copper Mines has told the Constitutional Court that its transaction with Delta Mining Limited, a subsidiary of International Resources Holdings (IRH), did not involve the sale, transfer, or disposal of any shares owned by the government. The mining company argues that it was within its legal rights to issue new shares to Delta Mining Limited, as approved by its Board of Directors, and insists that government shareholding through ZCCM-IH remains intact.
