ZAMBIAN artistes have lamented that they haven’t seen any money from the popular music streaming platform, Boomplay, for the past two years. DJ Mzenga Man, a well known figure in the music scene, explained in an interview that while artistes can see their earnings accumulating in their Boomplay accounts, they simply can’t withdraw the money. He says even those using distribution companies have noticed that Boomplay isn’t sending any revenue reports, and this has left many artistes confused and frustrated, as they don’t know what’s happening behind the scenes.
