ZAMBIA has officially welcomed the prestigious King’s Baton Relay, a symbolic tradition that marks the countdown to the 2026 Commonwealth Games, scheduled to take place in Glasgow, Scotland, from July 23, to August 2, 2026. The Commonwealth Games Association of Zambia (CGAZ) received the Baton in a brief but significant ceremony held in Lusaka, as part of the Baton’s journey across all 72 nations and territories of the Commonwealth.
