UPON reading our editorial opinion in which we were questioning the caliber and conduct of the so-called “young” politicians who want to vie for the highest office, one eminent Zambian could not agree more. This ardent reader, who is also an acclaimed governance activist, reminded us of two important issues. Firstly, he argues that there is nothing “young” about the age of Honourable Binwell Mpundu and the clique of the so-called “ichabaiche.” He also reminds our not-so-young “young” leaders that they are actually older than those who liberated our country.
