HEALTH Minister Dr Elijah Muchima says government has offered to support the UNAIDS office in Zambia, after the UNAIDS announced that it will reduce its presence in the country. During the recent 75th session of the WHO Regional Committee for Africa, UNAIDS Regional Director Anne Shongwe held a meeting with Dr Muchima on the sustainability of the National AIDS response, indicating that UNAIDS would have a reduced presence in Zambia due to funding cuts.
