PRICE Waterhouse Coopers (PwC) Zambia Partner-Consulting and Risk Services, Lyndon Lane-Poole, has revealed that mobile money transactions in Zambia surged to over K486 billion in 2024. And Zambia Information and Communications Technology Authority (ZICTA) Director General, Eng Collins Mbulo has noted that mobile penetration has exceeded 100 percent, meaning there are more active SIM cards in circulation than the country’s total population.
