RAPHAEL Nakacinda yesterday handed himself over to authorities after the Lusaka High Court upheld the 18-month jail sentence handed to him by the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court for defaming President Hakainde Hichilema. The PF official joins several other bigwigs of the former ruling party who are already serving various prison sentences for various crimes. Other senior PF officials serving time are: Ronald Chitotela, Nixon Chilangwa, Bowman Lusambo, Chishimba Kambwili, Joseph Malanji, Davies Chama and PF supporter Munir Zulu. Former Community Development minister Emerine Kabanshi was also jailed and finished serving her sentence while former defence minister Geoffrey Bwalya Mwamba was released on medical grounds after serving part of his sentence.
