SPEAKER of the National Assembly Nelly Mutti has ordered Mpika MP Francis Kapyanga and Mkushi South MP Davies Chisopa to provide evidence that independent power traders are importing power on behalf of Zesco. This directive was issued during the Vice-President’s question time in Parliament on Friday. The Mkushi South lawmaker had asked the Vice-President to explain why Zambia’s installed system capacity of 3,600MW could not meet the nation’s consumption needs of 2,600MW.
