GOVERNMENT has dispelled reports indicating that the maize export deal to Malawi has been cancelled. The reports were circulating through a letter purportedly authored and signed by Foreign Affairs Minister Mulambo Haimbe, as well as a fake publication attributed to the Daily Nation newspaper, alleging that Zambia had terminated the maize export deal with the Republic of Malawi due to payment issues.
