FOREIGN Affairs and International Cooperation Minister Mulambo Haimbe says there is nothing wrong with President Hakainde Hichilema using commercial flights instead of the Presidential Jet. And Haimbe says Zambia is currently enjoying a healthy relationship with the United States, as evidenced by the recent announcement that the US will invest $1.5 billion in the country’s health sector. In November 2022, President Hakainde Hichilema said government had started the process of selling the Gulfstream G650 presidential jet in order to recover the US$193 million which was spent on it.
