THE Department of Immigration has apprehended five Pakistani nationals for failure to appear before the nearest immigration officer on entry. The Department also arrested two Zambian nationals for aiding and abetting their illegal entry. In a statement, Saturday, Department Chief Public Relations Officer Namati Nshinka said the suspects intercepted while travelling in a grey Toyota Land Cruiser, registration number BAJ 8076, enroute from Malawi to Lusaka. “The Nyimba Immigration Office, in the early hours of Thursday, 20th November, 2025, apprehended five Pakistan nationals for failure to appear before the nearest Immigration Officer on entry, and two Zambian nationals, Fackson Phiri [aged] 27 and Eliud Siame [aged] 46, for aiding and abetting the illegal entry of the foreign nationals into Zambia....
