PF aspiring presidential candidate Emmanuel Mwamba has appealed to acting president Given Lubinda to reinstate those removed from the central committee for the sake of unity of purpose. However, aspiring presidential candidate Willah Mudolo says the pronouncements and directives made by Lubinda still stand as he exercised powers vested in him by the PF constitution. On Friday, Lubinda removed former PF secretary general Davies Mwila, acting deputy secretary general Brenda Nyirenda and party Chairperson Emmanuel Mpankata from the Central Committee, among other changes.
