THE construction of Mpula Police Post in Mushimbili Ward, Kapiri Mposhi, is entering its final stages, with the local contractor promising to hand over the facility within the next two weeks. Bevin Import and Exports, a Kapiri Mposhi-based firm, has reached the 90 per cent completion mark on the K1,062,926.55 project. Funded under the 2024/2025 Constituency Development Fund (CDF), the facility includes furniture worth K15,000 and a dedicated water reticulation system valued at K248,271.80. During a site visit, Construction Company Director David Musonda said the project had taken three months and would be completed within two weeks.
