THE grandmother of a child who was allegedly defiled by her uncle has narrated to the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court how the five-year-old was sexually abused. Meanwhile, an arresting officer has told the court that the victim was allegedly defiled on an unknown day when the grandmother was not at home. In this matter, the accused is facing one count of defilement of a Child Contrary to Section 138(1) of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
