THE Economy in the third quarter of 2025 grew by 3.6 percent from 2.7 percent in the third quarter of 2024. Speaking during a press briefing, Wednesday, Zambia Statistics Agency (ZamStats) Acting Statistician General Sheila Mudenda said the growth rate was mainly attributed to the performance of the information and communication which contributed 2.5 percent among other sectors. “Gross Domestic Product (GDP) estimates for the third quarter of 2025 show that the economy grew by 3.6 percent from 2.7 percent in the third quarter of 2024.
