MINISTER of Youth, Sport and Arts Elvis Nkandu says the era when football was regarded as the only major sporting discipline in Zambia is long gone, stressing the need for equal investment and recognition of other sports. Nkandu made the remarks during the Elvis Nkandu End of Year Basketball Tournament held in Kaputa District. The tournament attracted five teams, including visiting side Kasama Grizzlies from Kasama and the host team, Kaputa Wizards and drew strong community support and showcased emerging basketball talent.
