A 23-YEAR-OLD man of Kazungula has been apprehended by police after admitting to defiling a 12-year-old girl and apologising to the victim’s mother. Police have confirmed the incident, saying the suspect is alleged to have broken into the girl’s house where he defiled her. In a statement, Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo said the police in Livingstone received the report on January 8, from the victim’s 47-year-old mother of Simukali Village in Kazungula District. “She reported that her juvenile daughter, aged 12, was allegedly defiled by Ancient Mapulanga, aged 23, of the same village.
