MINISTRY of Local Government and Rural Development Permanent Secretary for Administration Dr Gabriel Pollen says government will address the challenges that were experienced in the first phase of Cash for Work. Speaking at the closure of the Orientation Workshop on the Revised Cash for Work Programme, Dr Pollen said the ministry was working with Smart Zambia and the Ministry of Community Development and Social Services to see how best they can address issues of double-dipping. “We implemented this programme in the first phase, we learnt lessons and we are coming back in the second phase, taking into account what lessons we’ve learnt.
