CHAPTER One Foundation has urged government to clarify that there is no policy or instruction authorising the Army to “exterminate” illegal miners. The foundation’s comments follow a viral social media video in which remarks are attributed to the Zambia Army Commander, Lt Gen Geoffrey Zyeele, indicating that the Army has been directed to “exterminate” illegal miners.
