THE Department of Immigration in Mpika has detained 109 suspected illegal immigrants following a targeted operation conducted in Shiwang’andu District’s Danger Hill Mining Area. In a statement, Tuesday, Immigration Chief Public Relations Officer Namati Nshinka said the suspects were among 112 persons apprehended during a joint operation involving the Department, DEC and the Police.
