SECOND Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Moses Moyo on Tuesday reprimanded Binwell Mpundu and threatened to send him on a “holiday” for stating that Zambia should learn from Ghana in terms of solving its illegal gold mining problem. Earlier Mpundu, who is Nkana Independent MP, while debating the Motion of Thanks to Ghanaian President John Mahama’s special address to the House, said that Zambia should learn how its counterpart dealt with the problem of illegal mining by sending soldiers to protect citizens while they mined.
