A POLICE officer has narrated to the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court how a 10-year-old girl was defiled by her 40-year-old biological father and two brothers. Peggy Malambo, 46, a Chief Inspector at Kabwata Police Station under the Victim Support Unit said the victim disclosed that she was sexually assaulted by her father on two separate occasions. This is in a matter where a 40-year-old man is accused of defiling his 10-year-old daughter and infecting her with HIV. The accused is charged with one count of incest, contrary to Section 159(1) of the Penal Code, Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
