THE Energy Regulation Board (ERB) has taken enforcement action against Zesco, Uno Energies and 27 other companies for breaching licence conditions and failing to meet their statutory obligations. In a statement, Thursday, ERB Public Relations Manager Namukolo Kasumpa disclosed that Uno Energies Zambia Limited was fined K180,000 for fuel contamination and failure to conduct mandatory quality checks, while ZESCO Limited was fined K100,000 for failure to establish and maintain appropriate safety systems and standards.
