FIRST Republican president Dr Kenneth Kaunda’s son, Kaweche, has died. Brother to the deceased, Panji Kaunda, confirmed that Kaweche was found dead on Thursday morning in Ndola. Panji, who is also Zambia’s High Commissioner to Malawi, said the family is making arrangements to transport the body to Lusaka, where the funeral is likely to be held. “Yes, he passed on this morning. It happened, unfortunately; it is sad because he was not ill. He went visiting in Ndola and apparently he was found dead. He was visiting Mr Kaira in Ndola, that is what happened.
