THE Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC) has arrested three suspects from Manyanya Oils Limited for engaging in illegal fuel vending involving over 25,000 litres of petroleum products. The Energy Regulation Board (ERB), in collaboration with the Task Force on Fuel Smuggling and Illegal Fuel Vending led by DEC, arrested the three individuals linked to the company in Nakonde District. In a joint statement, the task force indicated that preliminary findings suggested that the suspects acted in their respective capacities at Manyanya Oils Limited, indicating institutional involvement in the illegal activities under investigation.
