THE Lusaka High Court has ordered the Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) Secretary General to hold a fresh party convention in line with the party’s constitutional requirements. The Court has further restrained the Secretary General, Nathan Mulonga, and others from continuing to conduct any party activities or implementing any party constitution amendments born from the recently held convection which endorsed Brian Mundubile as the party’s presidential candidate. In this matter, FDD National Youth Secretary Vincent Mwakawele sued Mulonga, demanding the nullification of the convention held on March 9, which endorsed Mundubile as the FDD presidential candidate under the Tonse Alliance.
