THE Lusaka City Council (LCC) says it drilled 20 CDF-funded boreholes between 2022 and 2026 in an effort to improve water reticulation in communities. In a statement, LCC Public Relations Manager Chola Mwamba stated that the boreholes were targeted at schools, markets, health facilities and residential compounds across Lusaka Central, Munali, Matero, Mandevu and Kanyama constituencies. “The Lusaka City Council (LCC) has drilled and installed 20 boreholes in selected areas of the city between 2022 and 2026, as part of ongoing efforts to improve water reticulation in communities that previously experienced erratic water supply.
