THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has announced the completion of ballot paper printing for the 2026 general elections in Dubai, with the first consignments now ready for dispatch to Zambia on Sunday. The printing company, Al Ghurair, says six flights will transport the ballot papers, with the first flight carrying about 6.8 million ballot papers for 56 constituencies on Sunday. Yesterday, ECZ Commissioners Ndiyoi Mutiti and McDonald Chipenzi, alongside stakeholders, witnessed the loading of ballot papers into several trucks for transportation to the airport ahead of their shipment to Zambia. The first flight is expected to depart Dubai on Sunday, July 26, carrying 79 pallets containing approximately 6.8 million ballot papers, while the second flight will leave on Monday...
