ZAMBIA’S MTN Super League champions, Power Dynamos have been drawn against Sudanese giants Al Merreikh in the preliminary round of the 2026-27 CAF Champions League. According to the draws conducted, yesterday, Power Dynamos will travel to Sudan for the first leg between September 4-6, before hosting the return fixture a week later. The winner over two legs will face either JS Saoura of Algeria or Horoya FC of Guinea in the pre-group stage, with the first leg scheduled for October 16-18 and the return leg on October 23-25. Power Dynamos will be hoping to improve from last year’s campaign, where they bowed out from the group stage of Africa’s premier club competition.
