UPND Deputy Spokesperson Elvis Nkandu says citizens should appreciate the democracy that they are currently “enjoying” under the UPND government, as things were different before 2021. On Tuesday, former attorney general Musa Mwenye said Zambia’s democracy has been under significant strain in the recent past and citizens must assess whether Zambia was still a country that espoused the rule of law, transparency and respect of human rights of every individual.
