THE Lusaka City Council (LCC) has demolished 18 illegal structures erected beneath ZESCO power pylons at the junction of Nationalist Road and Tokyoway. LCC Assistant Public Relations Manager Bulumba Nyambe says the property owners were advised to stop construction but disregarded the guidance, leaving the Council with no alternative but to demolish the structures.
