OUTGOING UN Resident Coordinator Beatrice Mutali has expressed confidence that President Hakainde Hichilema’s new mandate will provide an opportunity to strengthen Zambia’s economy and democracy. Mutali has also commended Zambia’s resilience during difficult times in her tenure of office. Meanwhile, President Hakainde Hichilema expressed gratitude for Mutali for how she worked with the government during difficult times. Mutali served as UN Resident Coordinator from 2022 to 2026.
