ZESCO says the power interruptions being experienced in some parts of the country are a result of scheduled maintenance works and should not be mistaken for load shedding. The utility says the maintenance is being carried out in selected areas to strengthen electricity infrastructure and improve the safety and reliability of the network as the rainy season approaches.
