FORMER vice-president Dr Nevers Mumba says any delays in taking Brian Mundubile and Makebi Zulu to court are regrettable, claiming that President Hakainde Hichilema wants a speedy process to resolve the matter. Dr Mumba has further urged supporters of the two opposition leaders to avoid being antagonistic over the matter, arguing that doing so could affect the chances of President Hichilema considering dialogue and “forgiveness”. Meanwhile, Dr Mumba says he has never received any benefits entitled to former vice-presidents, noting that the law providing for such benefits has not yet been operationalised.
