A 33-YEAR-OLD police officer Emmanuel Tembo accused of stealing K622,483 from Zanaco Bank Civic Centre Branch in Lusaka last year, has pleaded not guilty to the offence of theft by public servant. Meanwhile, Tembo has pleaded guilty to the offence of failing to secure firearms or ammunition contrary to section 38(1)(3) of the firearms act. In count one Tembo is charged with the office of theft by public servant contrary to Section 272 and 277 of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia.
