PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema will today open the first session of the Fourteenth National Assembly at Parliament Buildings in Lusaka. And Choma Central UPND Member of Parliament Cornelius Mweetwa says President Hichilema can be trusted, as the UPND will not use numbers to pass laws that won’t benefit Zambians. The Fourteenth National Assembly will be the first to operate under the new electoral system, following the expansion of the House from 156 elected MPs and eight nominated MPs to 226 elected MPs, up to 11 nominated MPs and 40 proportional representation MPs.
