MINISTER of Technology and Science Felix Mutati says the 2022 ZICTA annual market report shows that the number of active mobile money subscribers increased to 9.9 million in 2021, while transactions grew to K169.4 billion. And Lusaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) president Alexander Lawrence says the organisation has partnered with Cellulant Zambia to spur the use of digital payments, enabling businesses to shift towards a digital economy.
