GOVERNMENT has signed two Public Private Partnership projects which include the construction and financing of the 35 kilometres road from Chingola to Kasumbalesa and the Kalumbila mixed use project. The Chingola to Kasumbalesa Road would be done by Turbo Investment Consortia while the Kalumbila mixed project would be done by Tran Engineering Road Construction Limited. Speaking during the signing ceremony, Finance and National Planning Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane said government had chosen the PPP route to overcome the deficiency in infrastructure. “The government chose the route of Public Private Partnership to be able to overcome this deficiency of infrastructure.
