AGRICULTURE Minister Mtolo Phiri yesterday flagged off the 2023-2024 fertiliser distribution exercise under the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP). Speaking during the ceremony, Monday, Phiri commended the United Capital Fertiliser for producing more than what the government had contracted it to supply. “The Ministry of Agriculture is eager to achieve enhanced agriculture production, extension service delivery, market access, value addition as well as lowering the cost of inputs.
