MINISTRY of Green Economy and Environment Permanent Secretary Dr Douty Chibamba says climate smart agriculture practices and fruit tree planting is key to ensuring food security at household and national level amidst drought. According to a statement issued by the ministry, Chibamba was speaking after he toured some small scale farms which are practicing Climate Smart Agriculture with the support from the Ministry, through Zambia Integrated Forest Landscape Project (ZIFLP) in Chipata, Eastern Province.
