THE Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) has issued an investor license to China Zambia Petrochemical Corporation (CZPC) for the development of a US$1.1 billion crude oil refinery and integrated energy complex in Ndola. In a statement, Tuesday, Industrial Development Corporation Head of Corporate Communications, Namakau Mukelabai said the issuance of the license meant the project would transition from planning into the full-scale implementation phase following the MoU signed in July 2025 during the Invest Zambia International Conference.
