ENERGY expert Andrew Kamanga says Zambia needs to look beyond water bodies for power generation and focus on coal-fired thermal power stations to bridge the current deficit. Speaking when he featured on Prime TV’s ‘One on One’, Wednesday, Kamanga, who is also Northwestern Energy Corporation Limited (NWEC) Managing Director, said the current load shedding was not caused by power exports but by depressed power generation capacity at key hydroelectric generation facilities in the country.
