THE Economics Association of Zambia (EAZ) says it projects inflation to reach an average single digit of 7.5 per cent in the first quarter of 2026 EAZ has also projected real GDP growth of about 6.7 per cent in 2025, compared to Fitch’s rating of 5.2 per cent. Recently, the Zambia Statistics Agency (ZamStats) announced that inflation for November 2025 had reduced by one per cent.
