THE Zambia Industrial Commercial Bank (ZICB) says it has injected about K500,000 into Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) development in 2025. ZICB adds that between 2024 and 2025, it supported approximately 50 women-led SMEs. In an interview, Monday, ZICB Head of SME Banking Juanita Chileshe said while K500,000 covers direct programmes, the total value of SME-supporting interventions was higher. “ZICB has injected an estimated ZMW500,000 since January 2025 through direct SME development initiatives.
