ZAMBIA Sugar PLC has disclosed its intention to expand production from the current 400,000 metric tonnes to 500,000 metric tonnes. Zambia Sugar adds that it is currently implementing projects valued at $132 million. Speaking at the 4th Private Public Dialogue Forum, Friday, Company Chief Executive Officer Oswald Magwenzi said the Zambian Sugar industry was among the top 10 global producers, stating that the country should be proud of having a world-class industry.
