THE Zambia Development Agency (ZDA) has disclosed that the country recorded actualised investments worth $14.71 billion from total commitments of $89.31 billion during the period 2021 to date. The Agency says these actualised investments resulted in the creation of 91,522 jobs. Speaking during a press briefing, Tuesday, ZDA Director General Albert Halwampa said the $14.71 billion was actualised based on responses from 779 companies out of a total of 2,065 companies that were contacted. “The Agency has continued to execute its mandate to promote investment, trade and business development through targeted investment missions and facilitation services aimed at driving growth and enhancing the competitiveness of investments in key sectors of the economy.
