THE Civil Society for Poverty reduction (CSPR) says the Kwacha appreciation cannot reduce poverty in the short term. In an interview, Tuesday, CSPR Executive Director Isabel Mukelabai however said if the Kwacha is sustained over a period of time and right poverty reduction programmes were implemented, the impact could be seen over two years. “When you look at it in terms of the cost of living, I think it’s a different thing.
