THE Small and Medium Enterprises Association of Zambia says Zambian SMEs have a long way to go in meeting the Lusaka Securities Exchange (LuSE) standards, which is why they are not listed on the market. In an interview, Monday, Association’s Director of Economics and Research, Yona Musukwa, acknowledged that the failure to be listed on the LuSE resulted from weaknesses within the association. “We have a long way to go to meet the conditions or the requirements and standards set by LuSE for companies to be listed.
