THE Zambia Revenue Authority (ZRA) says it collected a gross revenue of K185.5 billion in 2025 and refunded K24.9 billion. ZRA adds that the Authority experienced challenges such as tax evasion, avoidance and a backlog of unpaid refunds among others in 2025. Speaking at the Townhall Meeting, Thursday, ZRA Commissioner General Dingani Banda said ZRA recorded a net collection of K160.6 billion against a target of K158.9 billion, indicating a surplus of K1.6 billion.
