THE Bank of Zambia (BoZ) has disclosed that former Investrust staff will have their dues settled once there are sufficient funds available, noting that a process of disposing of assets is already underway. BoZ has also revealed that since the commencement of collection of mining taxes in Chinese currency, it has collected about 17 million CNY, equivalent to K46 million. In April 2024, the Bank of Zambia repossessed Investrust Bank PLC. BoZ explained that the repossession was necessitated by the shareholders’ failure to resolve the bank’s insolvency.
